Women want to be well. We yearn to be in control and feel better. We want more energy and we don’t have time to deal with chronic health problems. Going to the gym doesn’t work for millions of women for a variety of reasons (not everyone has to be a “gym rat” to look and feel great). And let’s face it, who really wants to eat seaweed or, for that matter, anything “healthy” that makes you want to gag when you put it in your mouth?
It’s no wonder typical exercise regimens and diets leave you feeling bored, deprived and lost when it comes to creating positive and lasting changes to your health and life. That’s why I don’t do a “one-size-fits-all” approach. Being Beautifully Empowered is all about us working together to create a complete health and happiness solution tailored specifically to you. I always look for opportunities to introduce more mouth-watering whole-food nutrition and unexpected ways for you move more without it feeling like a chore or a bore. This allows you to make simple, yet powerful, positive and long-lasting life changes that fit with your personality and lifestyle so you look and feel great inside and out.
I’ve Been There Too
As a former sugar addict, I’ve struggled first-hand with major weight shifts and low energy. I lost my marriage and my mother at the hands of chronic disease, negative emotions and living an unfulfilled life. As much as I wanted to, I couldn’t help my mother or my husband. Ultimately I realized that I could help myself.
Through my own transformational journey and health coach training, I’ve studied more than 100 dietary theories and learned from the top names in wellness including Joshua Rosenthal, Dr. Andrew Weil and Deepak Chopra. I’m also a Let Your Yoga Dance! Instructor, trained and certified through Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, the largest yoga, health and holistic living retreat center in North America. What I’ve learned, and what I share with all my clients so they can achieve their desired results, is that a vibrant, healthy and delicious life is yours for the taking when you put your health and your life first.
