Goddess messages from the Goddess Guidance Oracle Card Deck September 16th - Diana came in to support us in our efforts to remain focused on our inner light and not surrender to lower energies, Sedna reminded us that we DO live in an abundant universe with unlimited potential to heal...we talked about calling in these healing waters to extinquish the wildfires raging in the west (thank you, Donna), and Bast validated that we are strong and independent and that is needed for our success! After calling in the energy of Durga it is no surprise that Bast came through for us :)
Goddess messages from the Goddess Guidance Oracle Card Deck July 29th - Boundaries were such a strong theme and powerful discussion topic for all of us! Love, love, love...came through beautifully to remind us of the power of love and light over darkness. The cards never fail to give us the messages we truly need to hear :)
Goddess messages from the Goddess Guidance Oracle Card Deck from June 24th - Loved how Lakshmi jumped out last night! We are protected, safe and loved for our beautiful gifts and feminine wisdom. Keep shining your light, beautiful Goddesses!

Nourish your body with healthy, tasty fuel...you DESERVE this!
Favorite roasted veggies! Roasting veggies is a great way to ground our energies as we transition the seasons.
Here is one of my favorite combos, brussel sprouts & butternut squash, plus my oh-so-easy favorite Kale Chip recipe!
Picture

Roasted Brussel Sprouts
Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts, ends trimmed and yellow leaves removed
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Himalayan sea salt (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Directions
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C).
  • Place trimmed Brussels sprouts, olive oil, Himalayan sea salt, and pepper in a large baking dish, sprinkle liberally with balsamic vinegar and stir to coat.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 30 to 45 minutes, shaking pan every 5 to 7 minutes for even browning. Reduce heat when necessary to prevent burning. Brussels sprouts should be darkest brown, almost black, when done. Adjust seasoning with kosher salt, if necessary. Toss with more balsamic vinegar and serve immediately.
Kale Chips
Ingredients
  • 1 bunch organic kale (lacinato or traditional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon quality salt such as a Himalayan Sea Salt
Directions
  1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a non insulated cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Remove the leaves from the thick stems and gently tear into bite size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner. Drizzle kale with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning salt.
  3. Bake until the edges brown but are not burnt, 10 to 15 minutes.
Roasted Butternut Squash
Ingredients
  • 1 butternut squash - peeled, seeded, and cut into 1-inch cubes (some stores now have pre-peeled and cut options)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste - or try chili powder for a spicy/sweet variation (my favorite way to eat this dish!)
 Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Toss butternut squash with olive oil in a large bowl. Season with salt and black pepper/chili powder. Arrange coated squash on a baking sheet.
  3. Roast in the preheated oven until squash is tender and lightly browned, 25 to 30 minutes.

Infused Water - refreshing summer detox!
Filtered or spring water in a large pitcher, jug, jar, etc.
Add any combination of fresh fruit & herbs you like:
Watermelon & Basil (featured here)
Cucumber & Mint
Watermelon, Cucumber & Mint
Lemon & Basil
Cucumber, Raspberries & Mint

You get the idea! Let the water sit and chill for a few hours and then enjoy! You can find water bottles and pitchers with built in strainers so you don't get fruit chunks in the glass.
Or just run it through a mesh strainer and you are good to go! This is a very easy and natural way to add flavor and detox your body at the same time. Fruits & veggies naturally carry toxins out of the body - woohoo!

Our fabulous guest contributors - thank you!

Guest Contributor for January 10th, 2021, Ellie Mout -  To help ease us into a new year, Ellie introduced us to the concept of kaizen (baby steps), and why it's good to make incremental change over time. She also shared her beautiful singing voice with us - such a treat!
Ellie explained the Kaizen method and then guided us through an interactive exercise together. We were asked "What do I want to experience next in my body?" and then "What step can take to get there?".  Her guidance was helpful, compassionate and supportive.
As a gift to everyone who attended on January 10th, she is offering a complimentary 20 minute session. If you would like to claim your prize, please click here!
Ellie Mout started Intuitive Living to help women build better habits, improve their self care, and connect with their intuition. She has decades of experience with various approaches to physical, mental, and spiritual health.
